Our new horse stable

We are proud to offer to our guests a first class conditions in the new horse stable. The building is a 350 square meeter steelframe building located in the friendly town Þorlákshöfn.

We have a large paddock around the building where we prepare our guests and students for an unforgetable riding experience.

You do not need to bring any riding equipments, we provide it all. The only thing you need to bring with you is a good spirit and warm clothes since the crisp and fresh breeze from the Atlantic Ocean can be a little chilly at times.

Þorlákshöfn is a town on the southern coast of Iceland in the Municipality of Ölfus. The town name is named after Þorlákur Helgi who was bishop at Skálholt. Its main importance is as a port as it has the only viable harbour on Iceland's southern coastline between Grindavík in the west and Höfn in the east, and it serves as one of two departure points for ferries to the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago. Services include a restaurant, golf course, motocross field, sport complex and swimming pool.

Þorlákshöfn is ideal for riding tours. In all direction you will find a landscape favouring horses and people alike. In the East you will find a long and smooth black sandy beaches. While you are riding at the beach you have in front of you the view to the greatest volcanoes Iceland has to offer. In the West you have the moonlike lava fields with mysterious caves and an abundance of natural beauty.
